A Bob Marley Movie In The Works?-

Yes. It's True... Warner Brothers Pictures have purchased the rights to write a movie script based on Timothy White's biography of Bob Marley, entitled "Catch A Fire".

New And Forthcoming Releases-

Bob Marley & The Wailers In Dub - Bill Laswell (owner of the Axiom Label, a subsidary of Island Records) will produce an album of dub music of Bob Marley & The Wailers songs. Release Date Unknown.

Acoustic Marley - Island Records will put out an album of Bob Marley, that will be entirely filled with acoustic tracks, similar to the Seven-Part song on the Songs Of Freedom Box Set. The acoustic album will include such tracks as "Turn Your Lights Down Low". Release Date Unknown.

Rita Marley is releasing an album, entirely filled with unreleased Bob Marley & The Wailers songs. Release Date Unknown.

Peter Tosh Box Set-

At last, the long overdue, underrated member of the Wailers, will finally have a box set devoted to his music. It will include: uncollected singles, live versions, interviews, and speeches. Famed reggae historians, Roger Steffens and Leroy Pierson, will do track-by-track discography. Sony will release the box set due out in April 1997.
