GIVE 'EM SOME NEW HEPCAT

     Great news for all Hepcat fans and you don't even have to wait until their new album comes out either! On Hell-Cat Records' new compilation "Give 'Em The Boot Vol. 2" features a brand new Hepcat song entitled "Riding The Region."

     The song is part of the 21-song collection which also features such other acts as Buju Banton, David Hillyard and the Rocksteady 7, Rancid, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, Mad Lion and many more! The disc is due to be released on November 23rd for a bargain price of under $5. You can't afford not to get this album! We haven't heard the song yet, but if it's Hepcat, it is always good!

     If you don't already own "Give 'Em The Boot Vol. 1," it features an alternate version of "Can't Wait" that is not found on "Right On Time." As with the new volume, the first is priced under $5 and for this song alone, it's well worth it!

KINCAID WITH THE NEWS

     Kincaid Smith and all the members of Hepcat wanted to give all fans an early present before the new album comes out. He has set up an e-mail address for the band so fans can ask questions, suggestions, comments or whatever. The address is: dancingmood@hotmail.com, so send them some messages!

     Kincaid also passed along news about their forthcoming album. They are currently recording it but have run into some small problems which will push the album back a bit. He added that they "also wanted to take a little extra time and make sure that the songs are exactly the way we want them."

     College classes have put a heavy limitation upon our time, but we're still entirely devoted to this page. Coming very soon to the site is an intersting interview that Skin Up magazine, based out of Germany, conducted with several members of Hepcat. We're also working on adding more live Hepcat photos and a lot more!
